Change dev ops org ownership

I am the GA and unable to take ownership of a DevOps Org from a user who is no longer with the company

Could you please check the following things:
- If the org was created as MSA organization linked to your user’s personal Microsoft account, Azure DevOps will not automatically let an Azure AD or Microsoft Entra ID GA take over. You’ll first have to link the org to your Azure AD or Microsoft Entra ID tenant before the ownership transfer can work. Without that link, the "Take ownership" button will stay disabled. Go to Azure DevOps -> Organization Settings -> Microsoft Entra -> Connect to tenant.
- If the org is tied to a billing account owned by the departed user, Azure DevOps may restrict ownership changes until billing is reassigned.
- And ensure you must be part of Project Collection Administrator group.

Could you please send the screenshot as I am unable to see.
If the DevOps organization is still linked to the old user's Azure AD tenant and you're in a different one, you won’t be able to take ownership even as GA until it's disconnected or transferred.
If the org was created using a personal Microsoft account (MSA) and you're trying to access it via a work account (Azure AD), the system may block.
Are you the organization owner that you can see in Organization Settings -> Overview.

Ensure sure you're listed as a Global Administrator in the PANDESCO tenant.
And here as per the screenshot, disconnect directory and switch directory options are greyed out, then even though you are GA, but you are not the Organization Owner. Thats why you are seeing the take ownership option as greyed out.
Ensure you must be part of Project Collection Administrator group.
