Hello!

Recently my windows has been stuck on the BitLocker recovery page, with the error: 7_5_4_800000e0_Separator_7_6_df3f…1119_30bf…7dd5.

it has also been rebooting after a minute or so. We also cannot input any number on the recovery window with the keyboard. We tried USB connected keyboard as well, but it all failed.

Hello Gudam. If your keyboard still isn't working on the BitLocker recovery screen in Windows 11 even if you've tried a USB keyboard, the issue is likely related to some BIOS settings that may not allow for USB input prior to Windows loading. This is a common issue, particularly with hardware that has Fast Boot enabled or has USB Legacy Support disabled, which can restrict keyboard input before Windows loads.

In order to fix this, simply restart your PC and go into the BIOS setup menu (by normally pressing F2, Del, or Esc during start up). Then:

Turn on Legacy USB Support or USB Keyboard Support in Advanced > USB Configuration.

Turn off Fast Boot, which delays USB device initialization.

If applicable, turn off USB 3.0 support, which usually helps with older keyboards.

After you've saved your changes and restarted, your keyboard should now work on the BitLocker screen. If for whatever reason this doesn't work still, try hooking up a wired PS/2 keyboard instead, or try plugging your USB keyboard into USB 2.0 port instead, typically the leftmost port on desktops.

Please let me know if you have further questions or this help.

    Best regards,
