Dev Center dropdown empty when creating a DevOps managed pool

When I try and create a DevOps managed pool the dropdown for the data center is empty, like it's not loading. Any advice?

Durga Reshma Malthi 9,840 Reputation points Microsoft External Staff Moderator2025-08-11T08:49:57.2166667+00:00 Could you please clear the cache and cookies and refresh the portal. Also sign out and sign in back into azure portal and try in different browser.
Go to Azure Portal -> Create a resource -> Dev Center -> Create one in the same subscription and region you’re planning to use -> Wait a minute or two for it to show up.
If your Dev Center is in a different region, it won’t appear in the dropdown.
Ensure your account must have reader permissions on the Dev Center resource to see it in the dropdown, and Contributor to create the pool.
Also try to register the DevCenter by using this cmd:
az provider register --namespace Microsoft.DevCenterAdditional References:

2025-08-12T17:29:36.7+00:00 I did that got me closer but then I got this issue. When I click "Request Quota" the wizard closes and does nothing.
I'd like to request a Quota increase to get 8 agents up and running.

az quota request submit \ --resource-name "Standard_B1ls" \ --resource-type "Microsoft.Compute/virtualMachines" \ --location "your-region" \ --limit 8 \ --name "QuotaIncreaseRequest"And alternatively, Go to Azure Quotas -> Select your subscription and region -> Choose Compute -> find Standard B1ls -> Click Request Quota Increase and set it to at least 8 vCPUs.
But for Managed DevOps Pools, you usually need Dv3/Dv4 or similar, not just B series. So use Standard_DS2_v2 or Standard_D2s_v3.
