missing Microsoft store on windows 10 laptop

I do not have Microsoft store on my windows 10 laptop. what do i do?

I have tried downloading the app but the error message keeps saying - `` You'll need a new app to open this Microsoft-windows-store link"

    Hello. When you press the Windows key + R on your keyboard, type ms-windows-store:// and press Enter, do you still get the “You’ll need a new app” message, or does nothing happen?

    Click Start, type powershell, right-click Windows PowerShell, choose “Run as administrator,” then type this exactly and press Enter:

    Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Microsoft.WindowsStore

    Do you see a long list of details, or does it say nothing was found?
