Hello Epherons. The thing you are describing where a “profile thing” interrupts your game and requires manual dismissal is likely associated with either Windows Game Bar notifications, Xbox Game Services, or Focus Assist popups. Unfortunately, as of August 2025, there is no one switch to stop profile notifications and interruptions while gaming, especially when you are logged into Microsoft with Xbox services integrated.

That said, the easiest method is to simply disable Xbox Game Bar and Game Mode altogether:

Go to Settings > Gaming > Xbox Game Bar and set “Open Xbox Game Bar using this button” to Off.

Next, go to Settings > Gaming > Game Mode and set Game Mode to Off.

Be sure to check Focus Assist under System > Notifications > Focus assist and set to Off or Priority only to avoid popups.

Alternatively, if you are using a local account and still getting interruptions, you may have related background Xbox services running. You can disable them via Task Scheduler or Services (services.msc) by stopping Xbox Live Auth Manager, Xbox Accessory Management, and Game Monitoring.

    Best regards,
