Valid Office 365 subscription shown as expired

Hi guys, does anyone expirence the same issue explained below?

I have a valid Microsoft 365 subscription (through a Microsoft Family plan) but the Office apps (Word, Excel, etc.) show my subsciption as expired (even though it is valid until January 2026). Thus I cannot use the Office apps.

Signing out and signing in again does not help. I also checked my account in the Microsoft website and it shows as I would not have a valid account (funnily enough on my phone it shows I have a valid Microsoft 365 Family version, but still does not let me use the Office apps).

Other apps, such as Onedrive does not have the same problem and show my account as a premium subscription.

The problem appeared today (yesterday it was working just fine).

My region is the EU (Hungary specifically).

I really appreciate any respons in advance.

That is a transient error that affects some users, causing the subscription to appear expired.

Do you have all office updates installed? That may help, but the error should clear on its own within 24 hours. (It doesn't help you know if you need to use the apps.)

Do the online apps show you have a valid subscription? (You get additional features with a subscription.) They should work even without a subscription though.
