I ran an update on my surface pro 11 last night and now my keyboard doesn’t work. Anyone had this issue before?

    Hi Vegemitescroll,

    Suggested Solutions:

    1. Detach and Reattach the Keyboard

Clean the connector pins with a soft cloth.

Reattach firmly and check for LED lights.

    1. Force Restart

Hold the Power button for 30 seconds.

Then hold Power + Volume Up for 15 seconds.

Wait 10 seconds and power on.

    1. Check in UEFI

Power off, then hold Volume Up + Power.

If keyboard doesn’t work in UEFI, it may be a hardware issue.

    1. Update Firmware and Drivers

Go to Device Manager > Firmware > Update Driver

Also check Windows Update for pending updates.

    5.Test on Another Surface

If available, test the Type Cover on another Surface to isolate the issue.

    6.Use Surface App

Download from Microsoft Store to check device health and update status.
