How can I print documents in colour. My print options offer greyscale or monochrome only

I have just purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro, Copilot+ PC and unlike my Surface Pro 9, I am not offered the choice to print in colour when I am selecting print options.

There have been similar questions to this but none of the solutions offered work with this model so I apologies for asking again.

    Hi Susan,

This issue is typically caused by the default use of the Microsoft IPP Class Driver, which often lacks support for color printing. Fortunately, this isn’t a limitation of the Surface Pro Copilot+ PC itself it’s just a driver issue.

To enable color printing, you should install the official driver from your printer manufacturer’s website, which usually includes full color support. It’s also recommended to avoid using the generic IPP Class Driver whenever possible. Hope this helps your issue. Feel free to get back if you have any questions.

    Best,
    Jeric
