Hi @Ghanty, Rituparna [TECH NE],
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum and sharing your experience.
To test PowerApps and Power Automate with SharePoint Online, you can set up a SharePoint Online site in Microsoft 365. Here's how you can do:
1. Create a SharePoint Online Site
Once your sandbox is ready:
- Go to the SharePoint Admin Center: https://admin.microsoft.com (access requires administrator privileges) > Show all > SharePoint
- Click Active sites > Create > Team site or Communication site
- Give it a name.
2. Create a List for PowerApps and Power Automate
- Go to your new SharePoint site
- Click New > List
- Choose a blank list and name it (e.g., "Requests")
- Add columns (e.g., Text, Choice, Date)
3. Use with PowerApps
- Go to https://make.powerapps.com
- Choose Create > Star with a blank canvas > choose layout that you want
- On the top menu, click Data > search for SharePoint and select it
- ADD the URL of your SharePoint site and the list you created > Connect
- PowerApps will generate a default app for the list
- Customize forms, logic, UI, etc.
4. Use with Power Automate
- Go to https://make.powerautomate.com
- Create a new flow (e.g., "When an item is created in SharePoint")
- Connect to your SharePoint site and SharePoint list
- Add actions like sending an email, updating another list, calling an API, etc.
