When i use my personal account with pay as you go mode, and try to create azure postgres flexible server in region eastus, I cannot see option for zone redundancy and page says the region does not support zone redundancy.

The same when I use with another azure account with same as pay as you go mode which is a US tenant, with the same eastus region i see zone redundancy option.

I want to understand that are zone redundancy or other such features decided based on tenants? Or are they static?

    Hi Vishnu,

What you are seeing is normal. Due to capacity limitations they will frequently limit zone redundancy and other features to certain subscriptions based on criteria.

If you need access to zone redundancy in East US you can request access via quota support request. It is not guaranteed they will approve your request. I can post detailed instructions for creating support request if you are interested.

Please note the above [limiting feature availability] is true for other Azure services as well, not just Azure Database for PostgreSQL.
