CoPilot generated images do not fully display in the panel, and I can't scroll to see them

Hi. I have a current subscription for Office 365. I can use Copilot from the taskbar without difficulty. Within PowerPoint, however, when I request a generated image, the resulting images are hidden behind a lower panel that I can't hide, and the scroll bar will not pull the CoPilot results up high enough to display the full images. I've tried right-clicking, and I've explored all of the limited menus and dropdowns within the Copilot panel. How can I see results within the panel in PowerPoint? I'm running Windows 10 on an i7 machine with 32 GB of RAM and a graphics card. Thanks.coPilotProblem

    Dear AZ User,

Thanks for contacting us on Microsoft Q&A

I am sorry for the issue you have met. I acknowledged with the problem you have with PowerPoint and Copilot while inserting the images.

I hope we can work together and could resolve your case as soon as possible. Firstly, kindly help us consider trying these workarounds:

    Adjust the Copilot Panel Layout

    • Drag the Panel Borders
      • Hover your cursor over the top edge of the Copilot panel until it turns into a double-sided arrow.
      • Click and drag upward to expand the panel vertically.
      • If there’s a horizontal divider, try dragging it downward to reveal more of the image results.
    • Maximize the Panel
      • Look for a "Maximize" icon in the top-right corner of the Copilot panel (if available).
      • Alternatively, try double-clicking the panel's title bar to expand it.

Change PowerPoint’s Zoom or Display Scaling

    • Zoom Out in PowerPoint
      • Press Ctrl + Mouse Scroll Down or adjust the zoom slider (bottom-right of PowerPoint) to reduce zoom to 80-90%.
        • This may shrink the UI enough to reveal hidden content.
    • Adjust Windows Display Scaling
      • Right-click your desktop > Display Settings.
      • Under "Scale & Layout", try reducing scaling (e.g., from 125% to 100%).
      • Reopen PowerPoint and check if the panel fits correctly.

    Reset or Reinstall Office

    • Quick Repair Office
      • Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Microsoft Office > Modify > Quick Repair.
        • Restart PowerPoint and test again.
        • Online Repair (Full Reinstall)
        • If the issue persists, choose "Online Repair" in the same menu to reinstall Office components.

Test in Safe Mode (Isolate Add-in Conflicts)

    • Launch PowerPoint in Safe Mode
      • Close PowerPoint, press Win + R, type:
         powerpnt /safe

    • Try generating images in Copilot again.
    • If the panel displays correctly, a PowerPoint add-in may be causing the issue. Disable add-ins via File > Options > Add-ins.
    • Submit Feedback to Microsoft
      • Click the "Feedback" button in the Copilot panel (smiley/frown icon) and report the bug.
      • Include screenshots and describe the issue. Microsoft prioritizes fixes based on user reports.
    • Temporary Workaround
      • Copy Images to Clipboard
      • Right-click a generated image > Copy.
      • Paste it directly onto your slide (Ctrl + V), then resize as needed.

If none of them work, please consider updating your PowerPoint, and Copilot. Or use Office Insider to prevent bugs in your app.

Hope it will help. Kindy updating to me for further assistance, or your case has been resolved.
