Windows 11 Can't update

Windows 11 update don't complete. I get a message saying something like "update could not be completed." Suggestions?

Please clarify the following:

Look in the update history if an error code is reported.

Press "Windows + I" and select "Windows Update > Update history".

If you prefer, share a screenshot. Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

Also. What is the version and "OS Build" of your Windows 11?

Press "Windows + R", type winver, and click OK.

Yeah... I can't figure out what's going on. Every time I try to print, the program (MS Word or Adobe Acrobat) crashes. So, I tried updating my Windows software. But, when I try, it just spins and then says

"Hewlett-Packard - USB - 2/10/2017 12:00:00 AM - 44.1.2402.1741

Install error - 0x80070103"

The last successful Windows update was 8/3/25. But the HP update continues to fail.

I'm was hoping an update would help. But my guess is I'll have to remove and reinstall the driver software. The problem I face now is that all of the instructions I can find, including HP's, seems incorrect. For example, it recommends a control panel button that isn't there. I think a possible problem is that Windows can't seem to connect to the printer. It will show me the printer. But when I click on it, the control panel freezes and stops running. Argh...
