Hello, I’m reaching out regarding a OneDrive for Business account I used to access under the organization “qiqixue-my.sharepoint.com” with the email address ******@ms365.id.

I lost access to this account over a year ago, and only recently regained access. However, all of my data in OneDrive is missing. I have no access to any organization admin, nor do I have a way to contact the organization managing this domain.

Could you please help me check:

  • Whether this account is still associated with an active Microsoft 365 tenant?
  • Whether my OneDrive data is permanently deleted or possibly recoverable?
  • If there is any way to contact the organization administrator?

This data is very important to me and I would appreciate any assistance or direction you can provide.

    We understand how important your data is, and we appreciate the opportunity to assist you. Based on the information you've provided, here are a few key points to consider: 

    Unfortunately, without access to the organization’s admin portal or tenant information, we are unable to verify whether the domain is still associated with an active Microsoft 365 subscription. This can only be confirmed by an administrator of the organization that owns the domain. 

    If the account was inactive for an extended period (typically over 30 days after deletion), the associated OneDrive data may have been permanently deleted in accordance with Microsoft’s data retention policies. However, if the account was only disabled and not deleted, some data might still be recoverable. Again, this would require access from the organization’s administrator. 

    As community moderators, we do not have access to tenant-level administrative tools or contact information for organizations.  

    Therefore, if you are unable to reach the organization directly, we recommend checking any previous communications or contacts you may have had with them, such as IT support or HR, who might be able to assist.
