    Dear @Nigel Rooms,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum. We are happy to assist.

To help identify the root cause and guide you toward a resolution, we kindly recommend the following steps:

    1. Test on a Different Computer If you have access to another device with Microsoft Excel installed, please try opening and printing the same worksheet there. This will help determine whether the issue is specific to your current system or Excel installation.
    2. Try a Different Printer If possible, attempt to print the worksheet using a different printer. This can help isolate whether the issue is related to your printer driver or configuration.
    3. Review Checkbox Properties Right-click on the checkbox > Select “Format Cells" Under the Font tab, ensure that no special characters (such as dots or periods) are selected. The character field should either be blank or contain a standard checkbox symbol (such as a checkmark).

    1. Check for Worksheet Corruption In some cases, the worksheet itself may be corrupted, which can prevent proper rendering in Print Preview or disable the print function. You may wish to copy the contents of the worksheet into a new Excel file, reinsert the checkboxes, and attempt to print again. This can help determine whether the issue lies with the original file.
    2. Update Printer Drivers Outdated or incompatible printer drivers can also cause issues with rendering certain elements like checkboxes. We recommend visiting your printer manufacturer’s website to download and install the latest drivers compatible with your operating system.

Go to this link to learn more about download and install the latest printer drivers: Download and install the latest printer drivers - Microsoft Support
