Support Request for Using Existing Direct Routing Number from Microsoft Teams in Azure Communication Services (Greece)

Hello Azure Support Team,

I am based in Greece and currently have a Direct Routing setup for Microsoft Teams, where I use an SBC (Session Border Controller) and a phone number assigned to my Teams user.

I have a few questions regarding Azure Communication Services (ACS) support for Greece:

  1. I'd like to reuse the phone number I use for Teams Direct Routing within Azure Communication Services so that I can use it in custom applications.
    • Is this possible? If yes, please provide the steps or documentation to associate or federate the existing Direct Routing number with ACS.
  2. If it's not possible to use the same number directly, what are my options to integrate or forward calls between ACS and Teams using the current Direct Routing number?
    • I’m open to configuring SIP interoperability or using any other supported approach.

For context:

I have a Direct Routing SBC already in production.

I have different Microsoft accounts for Teams and Azure, but both are under the same organizational structure.

Please advise on the best method to use to migrate my Teams number in ACS, or how to set up a new number while keeping routing in sync.
