Hello, so i saw the same problem with the other guys and on the comments theres no solution can you please help me with this too.
So I connected my xbox controller through bluetooth, then I got this error:
I went to device manager and saw this error:
General tab:
Driver tab
I checked the Events tab > view all events
and this is what I got:

Things I tried:
1- DISM check - restore operation completed successfully
2- sfc /scannow - Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations
3- Uninstall error driver, then restart - still driver error upon reconnecting
3- clean install windows 10 (keep files and apps) - driver error upon reconnecting
4- upgrade to windows 11 - driver error upon reconnecting
5- update the xbox controller firmware in Xbox Accessories app - still driver error upon reconnecting.
6- Connect controller through Bluetooth in my other device > Asus laptop running windows 11 - works just fine. No driver error. To test further, I installed a PSP emulator and run a game. The controller working just fine. I can connect through Bluetooth and use it wirelessly.
I think it's a corrupted driver so I tried clean install windows 10 (still error) and then upgrade to win11, but sadly I still got the error.

Access the device manager under the USB and Bluetooth driver tab, take a screenshot, and post it here.
Did you come across another controller on this laptop besides your Xbox Wireless Carbon?

2025-08-12T21:14:22.62+00:00 Update | Reset Pc/Laptop as New So my last resort was to reset everything as new i mean i dont have really important files other than my resumes but i have it on my phone so i did reset it again and set it up as a new pc/laptop and now it works I guess the problem on keeping the files is it kept what your setting was and never really changed anything so whatever problem you have after you reset the pc/laptop you still have it so now its working. Also i have a problem before when i plug my phone for data transfer and its not reading the phone coz the driver of that particular thing is not working i think it was the MTP Portable Device and after i completely reset everything as new it worked fine
