Azure foundry models got wiped out on their own

Here are few aspects to understand the issue

Inactivity on custom models

After you deploy a customized model, if at any time the deployment remains inactive for greater than fifteen (15) days, the deployment is deleted. The deployment of a customized model is inactive if the model was deployed more than fifteen (15) days ago and no completions or chat completions calls were made to it during a continuous 15-day period.

Model retirement

Models in Azure AI foundry has some life cycle policies on respective version.

Post retirement of models, you cannot use existing model deployment

Accidental deletion

If they were accidental deletion from other members, you can find those events in activity logs from your resource in azure portal. You can use resource locks to prohibit user for deleting the models without permission.

Networking

Please check for any networking changes , if protected with virtual network, You might need request your admin for Virtual network role

If they are base models, you can re-create the deployment with new versions.

To avoid future unexpected model retirements

• Deployments set to Auto-update to default automatically update to use the new default version.
• Deployments set to Upgrade when expired automatically update when its current version is retired.

Deployments that are set to No Auto Upgrade stop working when the model is retired.

Hii!!! , thankyou both for replying, for my setup I am already using the policy - upgrade to the latest version and using base models only for dpeloying
