How to use wandb integration?.

I am trying to fine tune o4-mini using AOAI, and I would like to use WandB integration. I am within the Microsoft Research org and am within their organization on WandB, but I get the following error when I use the API key: invalidPayload: Provided Weights and Biases key is not valid. I don't know if this is an error with the key or if it is an error with the Key Vault set up?

Good day. Sorry for the delay in response.

I think you are trying to use weights and biases library from wandb in Azure OpenAI finetune tuning and facing below error.

API key: invalidPayload: Provided Weights and Biases key is not valid

Going through below documentation :https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-foundry/openai/how-to/weights-and-biases-integration and https://colab.research.google.com/github/wandb/examples/blob/master/colabs/azure/azure_gpt_medical_notes.ipynb for replication propose.

As per above document We need to enable system assigned identity on Azure OpenAI and add that managed identity as Key Vault Secrets Officer role on Azure Key vault and add Key vault URL and key in integration tab from finetuning tab where you have hosted your exiting finetuned models

But it is highly possible that you might have put the key vault secret under "" as a string instead a pasting the key as it is.

Please check for presence of any special character or blank space in keyvault secret containing the API key from wandb.ai account.

or

Test with another API key from wandb.ai to isolate the problem.

I am doing a minimal replication and will connect with you post that.

Good day.

The error might be with the key or an error with the Key Vault set up or coming from lacking permissions

We had suggested to add the keys without special character or blank space on Key vault and add Azure OpenAI as Key vault secret officer roles.

Then mention key vault secret name and key vault name in integrations.

Another way to isolate the problem to use another Wandb AI key from colleagues.
