Dear Team,
- Check BIOS/UEFI settings:
- Power on the laptop, immediately press F2 or DEL (sometimes F12 or ESC) to enter BIOS/UEFI setup.
- Make sure “Boot Mode” is set to UEFI, not Legacy/CSM.
- Disable Secure Boot if you are booting from a non-official USB.
- Save changes and exit.
- Check boot order:
- In BIOS/UEFI, set the USB drive as the first boot device.
- Save and restart.
- Re-create bootable USB if not working:
- The USB must be created as UEFI-bootable (GPT partition scheme).
- If you can’t recreate the USB from your phone, ask a friend or use a public PC to re-create the installer with Rufus or Media Creation Tool (choose “UEFI/GPT”).
- Copy the correct Windows ISO.
- If Windows To Go USB is available:
- Boot the laptop from Windows To Go.
- If successful, back up your data.
- Use Windows To Go to download/create a fresh Windows installer.
- Repair from Windows installer (when USB boots):
Best Regards,
