Migrating Azure Resources to a New Subscription After Receiving Additional Credits

Initially, I received $5,000 in Azure credits and was assigned a Subscription ID, which I have been using. Later, I applied for and received an additional $20,000 in credits, and a new Subscription ID was issued for that.

The problem is that the credits on the original Subscription ($5,000) are nearly exhausted.

In this case, do I need to manually move all the servers currently in use under the old Subscription to the new Subscription (with the $20,000 credit)? Or is there an automatic linkage between the subscriptions?

    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,

No, Azure subscriptions are isolated billing boundaries. Credits applied to one subscription do not transfer or share automatically with another. So, your original subscription with $5,000 and the new one with $20,000 are treated as completely separate. To continue operations under the new subscription (with $20,000 in credits), you’ll need to migrate your existing resources from the old subscription to the new one.
