Heres a photo to proof I have it.
Copilot issue when crashing
Hi everyone, I’m running Windows 11 Home, Version 24H2 (Build 26100.4770), and I’ve noticed that Copilot Vision isn’t working. The glasses icon shows up in the Copilot sidebar, but when I click it, nothing happens—no prompt, no image upload option, just silence.
I’ve already checked for updates, cleared the cache, confirmed my region and language are set to U.S./English, and I’m signed in with a personal Microsoft account. Everything seems to be in place, but Vision still won’t activate.
Is anyone else seeing this? Would love any tips or insight—thanks in advance. I at least want a response from a moderator or other—I just want it to work.

2025-08-05T02:35:41.6966667+00:00 Hi ryank,
Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Q&A about the issue with Copilot Vision on your Windows 11 Home system (Version 24H2, Build 26100.4770). I understand how frustrating it can be when a feature doesn’t work as expected, and I appreciate your patience.
To help me better narrow down the issue, could you let me know:
- Are you using Copilot as a standalone app (launched from the Start menu or taskbar) or accessing it through a web browser (like Edge or Chrome)?
- Can you recall when exactly the issue started—was it after a recent update, system change, or has it always been this way?
In the meanwhile, I recommend trying the following steps to help resolve the issue:
Step 1: Try InPrivate or Incognito Mode
If you're using a browser, open an InPrivate window in Edge or Incognito mode in Chrome, then access copilot.microsoft.com. If Vision works there, the issue may be related to browser extensions or cached data.
Step 2: Check for Copilot in Installed Apps
Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps and search for “Copilot.” If it appears, you're using the standalone app. From there:
-Click the three dots next to Copilot.
-Select Advanced Options.
-Try Repair, and if that doesn’t help, try Reset.
Step 3: Reinstall the Copilot App (if applicable)
If you're using the app version, uninstall it from the Microsoft Store and reinstall it to ensure a clean setup.
Step 4: Disable VPN (if applicable)
VPNs can sometimes interfere with Copilot’s connectivity. Try disabling your VPN temporarily and test the Vision feature again.
Step 5: Test with a New Windows User Profile
Create a new local user account on your PC and sign in. Then try launching Copilot Vision from that profile. This can help determine if the issue is tied to your current user environment or settings.
-Go to Settings > Accounts > Other users.
-Click Add account → choose Add a user without a Microsoft account.
-Enter a username and password → click Next.
-Sign out and log in to the new account and check Copilot again.
