I have 365 -PERSONAL subscription. Using apple iPad Air m2 bought January 2025. While trying to ask my question I’ve had to sign in 5 times—what’s the -purpose in wasting my time. Already being led in circles finding where to ask my question Why can’t you just let me ask my question instead of making me go through so many screens of useless information/questions. I’m just an elderly 80 y.o. woman —not a professional or office worker—but I have average computer skills and understand basics

for the past week while composing or editing any WORD document, and I want to change a word 0r insert something or make any changes at all, the document just jumps up and down vertically on the screen and I can’t do anything, OR finish my document. Waste of my time Probably something very helpful in last update (not usually helpful as everyone has discovered, but usually only messes up things that work fine) I’m sure this is in this category

‘TROUBLESHOOTING PERFORMED EACH TIME THIS ERROR OCCURS I’ve done a soft reset, deleted cache, restarted entire document several times during several hours’ time No good . Problem remains unresolved Driving me crazy too Usually I forget about finishing it until a later date but can’t remember if it works correctly by then

I NEED INSTRUCTIONS SPECIFICALLY FOR USING WORD ON MY MOBILE DEVICES isn’t there somewhere I can find instructions for using word and excel on my iPad i might discover more apps id like too. The headings at top of screen - most don’t refer to mobile devices Maybe there’s a different app I need to download specifically for my iPad If so i sure would appreciate a link If there’s not one you should make one I’m paying same subscription amount as someone who can access all the features that are only specific to windows

Especially when you're just trying to get your work done. You're not alone in this, and I’m here to help make things easier. Let me assist you go through this situation.

Here are simple steps you can follow to reduce or eliminate the jumping behavior:

    1. Switch to Print Layout View
      • Tap the View tab at the top of Word.
      • Select Print Layout instead of Mobile View. This often stabilizes the document display.
    2. Force Close and Reopen Word
      • Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
      • Find the Word app and swipe it away to close.
      • Reopen Word and try editing again.
    3. Update the Word App
      • Open the App Store.
      • Search for Microsoft Word.
      • Tap Update if available.
    4. Maximize the App Window
      • If you're using Split View, drag Word to full screen.
    5. Try Using an External Keyboard
      • If you have one, this can help avoid layout issues caused by the on-screen keyboard.
