I received $5,000 in Azure credits in October 2024, which will expire in October 2025. Am I eligible to apply for additional Azure credits after that?

To extend your Azure credits in the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, you need to progress to the next program level. Start by completing all tasks in your verification checklist, as this is required to be eligible for more credits. If your Azure credit offer is $25,000 or more, your account will be automatically reviewed 45 days before expiration based on your engagement score and task completion, and additional credits may be granted if approved. For offers of $5,000 or less, you can submit a request for more credits once your checklist is complete. Advancing to the next level in the program is the only way to extend your credits and gain more time to use them.

@Divyesh Govaerdhanan Thank you for your support. I had received $5,000 in Azure credits, which are set to expire in a month. Could you please guide me on where and how I can apply for additional credits, in case the eligibility criteria is matching my case ? Thanks in advance!

You can log in to the Founders Hub Portal and complete the verification checklist.

To find it:

Go to your Dashboard

Locate the Verification Checklist or Progress to Next Level section

Ensure tasks such as:

Company profile update

LinkedIn verification

Product description

Use case validation

Partner or mentor meeting (if applicable) is completed and marked

Once the checklist is done:

Go to the Support or Help section in the dashboard

Select Request additional Azure credits or click the prompt that appears when you're eligible

Fill in:

Your current usage

What the credits will be used for Any traction or milestones you've achieved Submit the form

The review team will evaluate your request. You may be asked for more info or metrics. If approved, your credits will either be topped up or you'll be upgraded to the next level
