Missing Join/Leave Timestamps in Microsoft Teams Attendance Report

Dear Microsoft Support Team,

We are currently facing an issue with the attendance report generated from Microsoft Teams meetings. When we download the attendance sheet, it only displays the participant names, joined status, and a timestamp column. However, the timestamp fields are blank.

Our requirement is to view the exact times participants joined and left, especially if they joined the meeting multiple times. We also need to track the total duration (in hours, minutes, or seconds) that each participant was present in the meeting.

Could you please guide us on how to enable or retrieve this detailed attendance information?

Looking forward to your support in resolving this issue.

    Hi Volunteer

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding your concern with the attendance report in Microsoft Teams, I understand that you're seeing blank timestamp fields in the downloaded CSV file, and you're looking for detailed information such as exact join/leave times and total duration per participant.

Microsoft Teams does support retrieving detailed attendance data, including the information you mentioned. These settings can be managed via the Teams Admin Center, and you can refer to the official documentation here for guidance: Manage the attendance and engagement report for meetings and events in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

Typically, these details are enabled by default, but if you've already reviewed the relevant policies and configurations and are still encountering issues, I’d need a bit more information to better understand your situation:

    1. Are the join/leave times visible in the Teams interface, and the issue only occurs when downloading the CSV report?
    2. Have you successfully generated attendance reports before, or is this the first time you're attempting to download one?
    3. Did you download the report during the meeting or after it ended?

Please share these details so I can assist you further. I hope the suggestions above are helpful, and I look forward to your response.
