Falsely banned account

Microsoft has consistently demonstrated poor business practices. I have been an Xbox user for the past eight to nine years, spending over hundreds of dollars on the account and creating numerous cherished memories with friends. However, I recently received an unexpected and unjustified permanent ban without any explanation. Furthermore, I am unable to contact their support team.

Upon being banned, Microsoft has effectively blocked all avenues for reaching their support team (as illustrated in the image below). Additionally, they have implemented a strike system that penalizes users, yet I have accumulated zero strikes and still received a permanent ban. Consequently, all the money I spent and contributed to Microsoft has been lost, effectively resulting in a form of theft.

Microsoft’s actions are deeply disappointing and contradict the image of a reputable company.

    Hi @R34P3R

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I'm truly sorry to hear that your Xbox account has been banned. I understand this must be incredibly frustrating, especially considering the time, financial investment, and meaningful connections you've built through the platform.

Due to privacy and security restrictions, we unfortunately don’t have access to the detailed systems required to investigate or troubleshoot this issue directly.

For further assistance, we recommend reaching out to the Xbox Support team, who are equipped with the tools and authority to review enforcement actions and provide appropriate guidance.

Apologies for redirecting you to the related development team support as the moderators in this community have limited resources to check the backend information, and to get the fast and better assistance we requested for it.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding, and we hope you’re able to find a resolution soon. Wishing you all the best moving forward!

I have had this same problem. I used the word "mod" in a group post to talk about trading "mod boxes" in Fallout 76 which are just in game items and thats what they are called. They aren't actually mods to the game just weapon modification such as the 4 star polished mod or 3 star explosive. I have had this account for almost 20 years now. I have contacted both xbox, support and the enforcement team and have not been able to get past the AI to speak to a human on either.
