To avoid this issue, we greatly appraise your solution to uninstall the Excel updates and stay in the old version as the best workaround at this time. It helps the user stay out of the issue and keep the workflow stable as well. We also suggest that you should report this issue to Microsoft via clicking the icon on the top-left in Excel app > Settings > Feedback to Microsoft so that Microsoft’s engineers can investigate and provide an update as soon as possible.
