why cant i download anything from microsoft edge on my xbox

so, I was going around in edge, but I noticed how boring the cursor was... I went and looked up "custom cursor" as I choose my new cursor it took me into chrome store and then I realized, I can't download the add on. so, I looked up edge store in edge and then I noticed I can't even download anything on there too, so I am really wondering... why? can someone help me here?
