I been able to post something on behalf of someone for years but now in the news section when I post something on behalf of someone it looks like a posted it, and when you open the post is finally when the name of someone else appears. This si something new that has been happening probably 2 week or so.

    Hi @Hayes, Cinthya
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, when the author byline is updated on a site page, the change is reflected correctly on the page itself but does not appear accurately in the News web part.
I’ve thoroughly tested this scenario, and everything appears to function as expected in my environment.

After conducting a thorough investigation, we've observed that several users are experiencing regression-like behavior when posting news on behalf of others. Specifically, the News web part appears to display the poster's name in preview tiles and cards, even though the correct author byline is shown upon opening the page. This seems to be a frontend rendering issue that does not affect the underlying metadata. We understand how confusing and inconvenient this can be, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption. This has been recognized as a known issue.

If this behavior affects your business operations, we recommend submitting a support request via the Microsoft 365 admin center if you have access or contacting your IT team to raise the issue from there.

    Appreciate your patience and understanding.
