Please try these suggestion:
- Open the Word or Excel app, tap your profile icon, and remove the signed-in account.
- Then go to your device Settings > Accounts and remove the Microsoft account from there as well.
- Restart your phone, then re-add your Microsoft account both in Settings and inside the apps.
This refreshes the authentication token and often resolves the issue.
