Initially, the laptop faced issues like freezing and brightness adjustment problems, which were resolved after the factory reset. However, now the random restarts are occurring. What could be the underlying cause and possible solutions for this issue?

did you do some troubleshooting? like windows update?

incase yes try this;

Update Drivers

Go to Device Manager → Right-click each major device (Display, Chipset, etc.) → Update driver

Or visit the manufacturer’s website for the latest drivers

Check Reliability Monitor

Type Reliability Monitor in Windows Search

Look for red Xs or critical events around the time of restarts

This can pinpoint faulty drivers or hardware

Run Hardware Diagnostics

Use built-in tools (e.g., Dell SupportAssist, HP Hardware Diagnostics)

Or run Windows Memory Diagnostic and chkdsk /f from Command Prompt

4.Monitor Temperatures

Use tools like HWMonitor or Core Temp

If temps exceed 90°C, consider cleaning fans or reapplying thermal paste

Update BIOS/UEFI

Visit your laptop’s support page and check for BIOS updates

Follow instructions carefully to avoid bricking the device
