Role definition limit exceeded. No more role definitions can be created..

Unable to create a new custom role, when we tried to create a new custom role its showing rate limit exceeded.

    As per the public documentation, it appears that you’ve exceeded the custom role definition limit in your tenant.

    Could you please confirm how many custom role definitions currently exist in your tenant? To retrieve this information, you can run the query mentioned in the following Microsoft documentation: Troubleshoot Azure RBAC limits

    Due to the limitation on the number of custom roles in Azure RBAC (Azure custom roles - Azure RBAC), the recommended approach is to delete any unused custom roles in your organization and then create new ones.

    Please note that there is no option to increase this limit, even via a support request.
