Peer Asn already exists with different name

i want to peer with microsoft via public exchange and need peerasn to be deployed first. when I deploy peerasn to associate my ASN with my subscription, it is failed with message Peer Asn already exists with different name

    Modifying a PeerAsn isn't currently supported. If you need to modify a PeerASN, contact Microsoft peering.

    Deleting a PeerASN isn't currently supported. If you need to delete PeerASN, contact Microsoft peering.
