    Hi Ramesh,

I’m Cherrelyn, and I'm here to help.

This error often occurs due to memory limits being exceeded, but regional settings can also affect how formulas are interpreted such as using commas instead of semicolons, or differences in number formats. Try switching back to your original region temporarily to confirm if that’s the cause. If so, we can adjust your formula syntax or settings to match the new region.

I hope this will help and if you have any question please don't hesitate to reply to this thread.

    Warm regards,

    Cherrelyn

    Hi Ramesh,

Thank you for the update, and I appreciate you trying that step.

If switching regions didn’t resolve it, the issue might be due to large or complex formulas, circular references, or too many volatile functions in the workbook.

    Please try these suggestion Instead:

    • Open Excel in Safe Mode to disable add-ins
    • Check for circular references under Formulas > Error Checking
    • Break down or simplify large formulas
    • Turn off automatic calculation (Formulas > Calculation Options > Manual) and calculate manually (F9)

If the file is very large, you might also consider splitting it into smaller parts.

    Warm regards,

    Cherrelyn

Hi thanks for your quick response

I performed all the below tasks

    • Open Excel in Safe Mode to disable add-ins - there is no add ins
    • Check for circular references under Formulas > Error Checking - there is no circular references
    • Break down or simplify large formulas - even simple formulas are not working
    • Turn off automatic calculation (Formulas > Calculation Options > Manual) and calculate manually (F9) did this but still not working
