    Hi Patil Vivek Suresh

Thank you for reaching out Q&A forum regarding the issue with copying from Excel and pasting into PowerPoint or other documents.

To assist you better, could you please confirm the following:

Is the Excel sheet protected? If so, try unprotecting it by going to the Review tab and selecting Unprotect Sheet. A protected sheet can prevent copy-paste actions.

    • Have you tried using the mouse to copy and paste? Right-click the selected cells in Excel and choose Copy, then go to your destination (Word, PPT, etc.) and right-click to Paste, or choose a Paste Option from the context menu.

    • Can you try opening Excel in Safe Mode? Press Win + R, type excel /safe, and hit Enter. Then test the copy-paste function again. This helps rule out issues caused by add-ins or extensions.

Additionally, to help us troubleshoot more effectively, please provide the following details:

    • The version of Excel you're using (e.g., Office 365, Excel 2021, etc.)
    • Whether you're using the desktop app or web version
    • The type of content you're trying to copy (text, image, table, etc.)

The more details you can share, the better we can assist you.
