Custom Domain creation on Azure for static webpage is running since 48 hrs

I have tried to setup a custom domain for my static webpage 48 hrs ago. The request is still validating & didn't finish yet. It hasn't thrown any error & there are no further details on the static webpage. The create page shows the status as 'Validating'

    I noticed in your process that the steps for configuring the CNAME and ALIAS records were missed.
