Hi Scott,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. Thank you for bringing the issue regarding the spacing between the site title and the Microsoft Teams logo in the SharePoint team site header to our attention. We have reviewed the behavior and can confirm that this appears to be a recent change affecting the Minimal header layout in modern SharePoint team sites. Specifically, the padding between the site title and the Teams logo is no longer present when this layout is selected. This issue does not occur in the Compact, Standard, or Extended header layouts, which continue to display the expected spacing. What You Can Do****1. Switch to a Different Header LayoutAs a temporary workaround:
- Go to your SharePoint site.
- Click the gear icon (⚙️) > Change the look > Header.
- Choose Compact, Standard, or Extended layout to restore proper spacing.
2. Monitor for Microsoft UpdatesThis may be an unintended UI regression or a design change that hasn't been fully communicated. Microsoft may release a fix or clarification soon.3. Report via Microsoft 365 Admin CenterIf you're an admin, you can:
- Submit feedback or a support ticket via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- Reference the issue with the Minimal header layout and Teams logo spacing.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.Best regards, Hoang-D - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
