Hi

Message shown is

Publisher has detected a problem in the file you are trying to open. If you are certain that this file came from a trusted source and does not contain harmful information, click OK. If you received this file from another person or machine and are not sure that the contents are safe, click Cancel.

I already tried to open publisher in safe mode , put on different computer but it didn't help...

this document is VERY important!!

THANK YOU

    Dear customer,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, can I ask you for some information so that I could have a better view of the problem you are having:

    • May I know whether you received this file from someone else or created in older version of Publisher?

Please provide the screenshot of Microsoft 365 Product Information. To get this screenshot, open Word or Excel on your system, click File>Account, capture the screenshot of all the information mentioned under Product Information.

I know that you have try to open the file in safe mode, I suggest try again, go to Open Office apps in safe mode on a Windows PC - Microsoft Support to know how to open Publisher in safe mode. Once it is open safe mode click File>Open>Browse navigate to the location where the affected publication is stored and open it.

If you cannot open the publication after you start the Publisher in Safe Mode, use the following steps:

    • Open Publisher, go to Insert tab.
    • Click Insert File, it will open a same File explorer window, find the correct publication to open.

If safe mode doesn't work, please check if you have other 3rd party security solution installed on your PC? (There is a known conflict between Publisher files)

We appreciate your patience and are here to help. Looking forward to your response.

    Best regards
