Find my xlxs work books

I have 13 workbooks on my Android Tablet and all was fine.

Today I have gone into Excel App and cannot see any of my workbooks listed.

Can someone please help me to find these spreadsheets as they are important to me and I need to work on them.

I have definitely not deleted them and was only looking and using them over the weekend.....now nothing!!!

    I understands the importance of resolving this issue, Don’t worry I will be helping you with this following steps.

    1. Check OneDrive or Google Drive – If your files were saved to the cloud, they might still be accessible there.
    2. Search for the Files Manually – Use your tablet’s file manager and search for .xlsx to see if the files are stored elsewhere.
    3. Check Recent Files in Excel – Sometimes, files disappear from the main view but can still be accessed under Recent Files in the Excel app.
    4. Restart Your Device – A simple restart can refresh the app and make missing files reappear.
    5. Clear Excel Cache – Go to Settings > Apps > Excel > Storage, then clear the cache (but not the data).
    6. Reinstall the Excel App – If the issue persists, uninstalling and reinstalling Excel might restore access to your files.
