Hi Robert,
Thank you for using Microsoft products and making community posts.
I understands the importance of resolving this issue, Don’t worry I will be helping you with this following steps.
- Update Excel and iOS: Ensure both the Excel app and your iPad's operating system are updated to their latest versions. Sometimes, updates include bug fixes for issues like this.
- Disable Auto-Save: If your files are set to auto-save, try disabling this feature temporarily to see if it helps.
- Test with Different Files: Check if the issue occurs with all files or just specific ones. If it's specific files, there might be a problem with those files.
- Reinstall Excel: Uninstall the app, restart your iPad, and then reinstall Excel. This can sometimes clear out any corrupted data causing the crashes.
- Check Cloud Sync: If you're using OneDrive, ensure it's syncing properly. Try saving a file locally on your iPad and see if the issue persists.
- Excel Web Version: As a temporary workaround, you can use the Excel web version via your browser to avoid app crashes.
Please feel free to let me know how it goes.
