I am having a challenge going on the Avery design and would like to download Avery 5305 to either word or publisher. I know it is retired, but is there a workaround? Thank you.

    Hello Pilar Brion,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community. We're happy to support you with your concern.

Avery 5305 is officially retired, meaning it's not available in the Avery Design & Print Online tool anymore. However, there are still some workarounds that you can try if you need to use this template:

Option 1: Manual Template in Word

You can accurately mimic the Avery 5305 layout in a Word file with:

    • Go to Layout > Margins > Custom Margins.
    • Set 1" for all four side and choose Landscape orientation
    • Create two 3.5" wide × 4" high table cells, side-by-side
    • Text rotated 180° in one of the cells (so it’s right-side up when folded)

Option 2: Use Avery 5371 Template (as alternative)

    • Avery 5371 provides 10 cards per sheet (2" x 3.5"), designed for business cards.
    • It isn't designed for tent cards but can be used for basic content layout.
    • However, it’s not ideal if you want accurate tent folding.

Option 3: Use Publisher for precision

    In Microsoft Publisher:

    • Start with blank 8.5" x 11" landscape
    • Add two 3.5" × 4" boxes centered on the page
    • Rotate text as needed for front/back of tent
    • Publisher is easier for print layout than Word if available.

You can try workaround and update us if it helps resolve your concern. If anything still doesn't work right please feel free to let us know and we will keep assisting you.

    Best regards,
