Hello there! I lost all my Excel spreadsheets from my iPhone 16plus. I checked in iCloud, in recently deleted, on my phone. I tried to get help from Apple support and followed their instructions but unfortunately they couldn’t find anything and transferred me to you. On Monday or Tuesday I filed some information in one of the files and everything was fine. And yesterday I wanted to do the same but everything was missing.

    Good day!

Welcome to Microsoft Community. Thank you for sharing your concern with us today and we hope that all is well. That’s really frustrating losing important files unexpectedly is never fun. Since you've already checked iCloud and the "Recently Deleted" folder, let's go through a few more recovery options to see if we can get those spreadsheets back.

    1. Check OneDrive (if applicable)

If your Excel files were saved to OneDrive, they might still be there.

    • Open OneDrive on your iPhone or visit onedrive.com.
    • Look in the Recycle Bin (if you had auto-sync enabled).

    2. Look in Excel’s Recent Files

    • Open Excel on your iPhone.
    • Tap Recent at the bottom of the screen—sometimes files can still be accessed even if they don’t appear in storage.
