Is there a way to Extract bank statements to excel automatically

I would like to know if there is a way for me to connect my bank statements to excel to automatically extract my data to excel for like accounting purposes. If there is no such way I believe it could be a valuable feature as it will help lots of people who can't afford to pay 100's of apps, these days you have apps for everything and as life is nothing is for free but adding up the costs of all apps you have to pay for to do one thing probably will end up eating up all you cash. If you know what I mean.

    There are many ways to import data into Excel, but since bank data is usually very well protected, a direct import will not be possible due to security reasons of your banking software.

    The usual way in banking software is to export the data using a CSV file, this file can easily be imported into Excel.
