How to get Excel to stop opening in Safe Mode.

Excel files open in Safe Mode. I believe that to stop that behavior, I need to open any Excel file in NOT Safe Mode. So I close all Excel files, and it comes up with an empty Excel file--in Safe Mode! That behavior doesn't change even after restart Windows.
Thanks for your help,

What has been changed or updated?

Its opening in safe mode because an add-in is preventing it opening normally

I did nothing. But after a Windowss Update and restart, files are no longer opening in Safe Mode. Assuming that it was indeed an add-in as you said, I'd prefer to identify the add-in instead of waiting for the next restart. Also if it is an add-in,it's possible that I need that add-in, and thus I can't delete the add-in.

Within Excel Desktop > File > Options > Add-ins > Manage Com add-ins > Go the add-ins used wil be ticked any none MS Add-in will be the problem one, and it depends how it was installed as to how you remove it. It could be part of a pkge, eg Adobe or something physically installed which can be remved via winAdd/Remove dialogue
