Spell checker/proofing in powerpoint switches back to german

Hello guys

I have a pretty big problem. So my computer's keyboard layout is german. However, Windows language is english. In power point it says English US at the bottom but as soon as I write something, it switches to German (i guess it is copying the keyboard layout selected). Is there any way that input keyboard stays german but spell checker checks English instead for german? or it detects and proof english when english is being written and german when german is being written?

PS: Preferred language for proofing is selected English US

    Hello Asif,

Thank you for contacting us! We listen to you and are happy to help you.

I would like to inform you that spellcheck is associated with the Keyboard layout you are using. As German words and English words have different spellings, the spellcheck won't work for English when you are using German keyboard layout.

Spellcheck only recognizes the words for current Keyboard layout (German).
However, you can switch keyboard layout from German to English by pressing Windows+ Space keys together and verify the spellings in English.

I hope this information will help you solve your problem. If it is useful for your problem, mark it as useful or useless so that it can be useful to others.

Thank you for your patience and understanding

    Best regards,
