Hello Paul Costantine,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
It sounds like you're facing a common issues with updates not reflecting in Teams after republishing your Copilot. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this:
- Clear Teams Cache: Sometimes, teams displays a cached version of the app. To clear the cache:
- Close Microsoft Teams
- Navigate to "%appdata%\Microsoft\Teams" on your computer.
- Delete all files and folders in this directory
- Restart Teams and check if the updates are visible.
- Increment Version Number: Ensure that the version number of your Copilot has been incremented in Copilot Studio before republishing. This helps Teams recognize the new version. To increment version number in Co-pilot Studio, follow these steps: Open Copilot Studio >> Navigate to the project where your co-pilot is published >> Locate the versioning section in the settings or publishing tab. Increment the version number manually (e.g from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1) >> Save changes >> Republish
- Permissions and Approval: If your organization requires admin approval for app updates, make sure the new version has been approved in the Teams admin center.
4, Uninstall and Reinstall: You might need to uninstall and reinstall the bot in Teams. This often ensures you get the latest version.
- Check for errors: Verify that the republishing process was successful and that there were no errors during the update.
- Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Contact Us - Microsoft Support with details about your bot and the issue you're experiencing. They will assist you and ensure you receive the necessary guidance to resolve the issues.
