    Hello Paul Costantine,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you're facing a common issues with updates not reflecting in Teams after republishing your Copilot. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this:

    1. Clear Teams Cache: Sometimes, teams displays a cached version of the app. To clear the cache:
    • Close Microsoft Teams
    • Navigate to "%appdata%\Microsoft\Teams" on your computer.
    • Delete all files and folders in this directory
    • Restart Teams and check if the updates are visible.
    1. Increment Version Number: Ensure that the version number of your Copilot has been incremented in Copilot Studio before republishing. This helps Teams recognize the new version. To increment version number in Co-pilot Studio, follow these steps: Open Copilot Studio >> Navigate to the project where your co-pilot is published >> Locate the versioning section in the settings or publishing tab. Increment the version number manually (e.g from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1) >> Save changes >> Republish
    2. Permissions and Approval: If your organization requires admin approval for app updates, make sure the new version has been approved in the Teams admin center.

4, Uninstall and Reinstall: You might need to uninstall and reinstall the bot in Teams. This often ensures you get the latest version.

    1. Check for errors: Verify that the republishing process was successful and that there were no errors during the update.
    2. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Contact Us - Microsoft Support with details about your bot and the issue you're experiencing. They will assist you and ensure you receive the necessary guidance to resolve the issues.

    Hi Favour.

I am unable to find the version number setting anywhere in the Settings or Publish sections of the agent in Copilot Studio. My agent uses our company's SharePoint for knowledge. It is published through Teams, making it available to all employees. I successfully updated the agent once, with it going from version 1.0.0 to 1.0.1. Unfortunately, I don't recall how I incremented the version.

    Thanks,

    Mike B.
