Pivot Table showing Main Category & Sub category

I am creating a pivot table with 5 main category. Under each main category, there are different sub category.

Eg, Main Cat A has sub cat 1 & 2; while Main Cat B has sub cat 3 & 4. While creating the pivot table with Main Cat and Sub cat in the Row box, it shows a row with Main Cat A & sub cat 3 & sub cat 4. How to solve this? Thanks

    Drag a field into the Values section and the issue is gone.
