Hello Admin,
**
Thank you for submitting your question on Microsoft Q&A.**
In Australia, Alphanumeric Sender IDs require pre-registration. Dynamic IDs are not permitted; instead, you must apply and provide supporting documentation for approval. If your subscription does not qualify, the "Enable Alphanumeric Sender ID" option will be disabled in the portal.
To use Alphanumeric Sender IDs with an ineligible subscription, you need to submit a support request.
Next Steps
- Confirm Your Support Plan: You must have a Standard or Developer support plan to open a technical support ticket. Basic (free) plans do not allow this.
- Submit a Support Request: With an eligible plan, open a technical support request to Microsoft. Include the following details:
i. Your Azure Communication Services resource name
ii. Your Azure Tenant ID
iii. The target country (Australia)
iv. Confirmation that the "Enable Alphanumeric Sender ID" option is unavailable or disabled in the portal
Microsoft will review your submission and, if appropriate, manually enable the feature for your tenant, ensuring all regulatory and service requirements are met.
