How to get ESU program for $ 30 ?

I am at current version of windows 10 (22H2) but not seeing the option to sign up for ESU when I go to settings/update security/windows update .... I really need this ESU as I cannot upgrade to windows 11 on my computer and cannot change my computer until next year.

"Extended Security Updates for Windows 10:

For individuals: An enrollment wizard will be available through notifications and in Settings, making it easy to enroll in ESU directly from your personal Windows 10 PC. Through the enrollment wizard, you’ll be able to choose from three options:
- Use Windows Backup to sync your settings to the cloud—at no additional cost..
  - Redeem 1,000 Microsoft Rewards points—at no additional cost..
    - Pay $30 USD (local pricing may vary).

Once you select an option and follow the on-screen steps, your PC will automatically be enrolled. ESU coverage for personal devices runs from Oct. 15, 2025, through Oct. 13, 2026. Starting today, the enrollment wizard is available in the Windows Insider Program and will begin rolling out as an option to Windows 10 customers in July, with broad availability expected by mid-Augustxii."

That doesn't help because this "choice", or enrollment wizard, to enroll has not been given after running Windows Update. It has not yet appeared. So then what?

Just wait mid-august, like it's mentioned in the article above. ESU is important after Windows 10 end of support - October 14th

And, of course, check other 2 options for ESU for individual users. They are free.

Yes thank you Pavle..I will check again in August to see if I have the $ 30 support option in my settings.

One of the options appears to backup your system onto Microsoft, using PC Backup. However, this appears to require a subscription, which is considerably more than $30. Is this correct?

Note that it is difficult to know because of all the hoops and screens you need to jump through to get to that point, you don't know what you are signing up to or how. As I have a valid subscription, being asked for billing information again is more than frustrating.

Hi...I just installed latest windows 10 update now and still not seeing the $ 30 support option under settings... update and security...

I was hoping this update today would give it...do I need to be concerned ? I really need this ESU ...please help ! Thank you !
