Hi A LAW,
W10 supported to Jan 12, 2027, W11LTSC would be better
This is from CP,
As of now, Microsoft has not announced a new version of Windows 10 LTSC beyond the existing LTSC 2021, which is based on Windows 10 version 21H2. That edition will receive mainstream support until January 12, 2027, and extended support for the IoT variant until January 13, 2032.
🧭 What This Means
- Windows 10 22H2 is the final feature update for the general Windows 10 line
- Microsoft is shifting focus to Windows 11 LTSC, which launched in 2024 based on version 24H2
- If you're looking for long-term support on Windows 10, LTSC 2021 is your best bet, and there’s no indication of a newer LTSC release for Windows 10
If you're planning deployments or upgrades, it might be worth exploring Windows 11 LTSC or sticking with LTSC 2021 depending on your hardware and compatibility needs. Want help comparing LTSC 2021 with Windows 11 LTSC or scripting a lean install? I’ve got you covered.
