Azure Digital Twins Explorer is currently in preview. Are there any updates on when it will be moved to general availability (GA)? Has Microsoft announced any confirmed production release dates?

    Hello Narendra Lalwani,

It looks like you're curious about the Azure Digital Twins Explorer and when it might move from preview to general availability.

At this time, Azure Digital Twins Explorer remains in public preview. Microsoft has not yet announced a confirmed date for its transition to General Availability (GA). While the tool continues to evolve based on user feedback, it is still considered a preview feature and may undergo changes before its production release.

That said, the core Azure Digital Twins platform is fully GA and production-ready. The Explorer is a valuable companion tool for visualizing and interacting with your digital twin graph, and it supports DTDL v2 models with limited support for DTDL v3.

    Hope this helps!
    Thank you!

    Hello @Narendra Lalwani

welcome to this moderated Azure community forum.

The Azure Digital Twins environment itself is fully functional in GA so it seems the documentations needs a bit of TLC to match the portal.

Keep in mind, the portal does not get much updates. If you want to work with V3 models, this needs to be done via code like this blog post shows (check the related posts for more ADT related stories).

Notice that there is also a second Digital Twins environment coming, part of Microsoft Fabric Digital Twins, called Digital Twins Builder. That one has just reached Public Preview.
